IOT Hardware Specialist

Key Areas of Responsibility

You will be involved in the full product development cycle from Product feasibility, Development including writing specification/quality test plan and manufacturing support. You will assume technical leadership in the development projects by reviewing the designs, coaching junior developers, and improving team technical competence. Selection of adequate sensors of global supply and selection and development of edge computers and IoT devices according to requirements. Responsible for the integration to the platform according to security standards. Ensure the product complies with related international safety and quality regulations (CE, UL, CCC). Responsible for the product life cycle management and provide solutions for field problems. You have a network of potential hardware development partners. Recommendation on IoT building blocks’ usage in the field and consultancy on application and are able to test the products in the lab environment and in the field.

• Bachelor or above, majored in electronics, automation, controls or relevant electrical area
• 5+ years experiences as Electronics Engineering designer in electronics / electrical / automation controls / telecom companies
• Strong electronics simulation and system integration skills
• Ability to derive HW requirements from System Requirement Specification
• Experience on hands-on development of Internet of Things (IoT) products such as controllers, loggers & sensors
• Experience to work with Manufacturing Companies, 3rd party suppliers for co-development
• Efficient, strong ownership, result driven
• Good communication, strong team spirit, good leadership and coaching skills
• Fluent in English speaking, and good documentation capabilities
• Teamworking skills, Empathic
• Passion for Business network development

In addition to the above, it is to your advantage if you have SaaS experience, knowledge on basic FW development, experience on global product development or work within a global team.
